Good Food News - Kitchens Without Borders
Food delivery startup DoorDash has disrupted the restaurant delivery sphere and they are about more than just getting food to your door quickly.
Their Kitchens Without Borders is DoorDash’s initiative spotlighting the human stories behind the food and to support the immigrant- and refugee-owned businesses they partner with.
They are beginning by featuring a group of San Francisco Bay Area entrepreneurs/restauranteurs. Incuded on the list are: Besharam, Z Zoul Cafe, Onigilly, Los Cilantros, Sabores Del Sur, West Park Farm & Sea, Little Green Cyclo, Afghan Village, D’Maize, and Sweet Lime Thai Cuisine.
I look forward to seeing their expansion across the country so that we all can get to know these immigrants, their foods and the stories behind them.
