Good Food News - Farming Church Land
A story on the website Civil Eats from a few months back has stuck with me.
Last summer, farmer Moses Kashem started developing a neglected half-acre of land owned by St. Simon’s Episcopal Church in Miami, Florida. It’s now transformed into a vegetable farm, providing produce to Whole Foods, local restaurants, and a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
Yet another creative example of food for all.
